Petrograd in Transit is a post-rock band from St. Petersburg, FL. On the heels of some good local press coverage, they decided they needed a web presence. We were more than happy to provide them with that.

The Dirt
These days, most bands find other places to present themselves on the web than their own website. The goal with contemporary band sites is to provide a place to get quick, vital information about the band (e.g., tour dates), allow easy access to audio samples, and to provide a jumping off point to learn more about them on the various social and media networks they probably inhabit (Myspace, Facebook, Last.fm). We achieved that with a single-page design that provides access to rich media without requiring the user to leave the front page. On top of that, we threw in a logo and brand that is a nice little homage to everyone's favorite DeLorean. The way we see it, if you're gonna build a time machine into a car, why not do it with some style?
